Storing Curry leaves fresh and nice for a long time:
- After immediatly bring it from store we need to seperate the leaves from the stems and take off the damaged leaves.
- Take a wide bowl fill up with the cold water and put 1/2 spoon salt, stir it.
- Soak the leaves in that salt water for 3 minutes.
- Then drain off the salt water and wash with the fresh cold water.
- Drain off the remaining water.
- Put the washed Curry leaves in the meshed basket if you have one like in the picture. If you don't have this type of basket you just wrap them in a paper towel and let them dry in a dry plate or on a dry paper towel .
- Make sure every leaf should completly dry.
- Now put them in a airtight container.
- Store this box in the refrigirator.
- These will last nicely for 2/3 weeks without wasting single leaf.
Thanks for watching.
Thank you very much petitchef.
