Ingredients:
- Wheat flour-1 cup
- Ragi flour/Finger millet/African millet/Red millet flour-1 cup
- Rice flour-1 cup
- Basil powder-1 tbsp
- Parsley-1 tbsp
- Salt- 1 tbsp or according to taste
- Cumin seeds-1 tbsp
- Vaamu/Ajwain seeds/Tymol seeds-1/2 tbsp
- Greated ginger-1/4 tbsp
- Chopped Green chilli/Green mirchi-2 (for more spicy)
- Bajji mirchi/Cubenella peppers/jalapeno (for mild spicy)
- Spanish: [xalaˈpeɲo]) peppers (for mild spicy)
any of these 3 peppers that are very mild for mild spicy lovers.
- Water
Method:
- Take a bowl, put all ingredients one by one just mix it before you pour the water so every thing gets mixed well.
- Now pour water little little amounts and stir it after each time after water.Add water to the flour up to you get this type of consistency.(free fall from the spoon or scoop)
- Take a pan , put on the stove,put your stove on 8 or average flame.
- After pan gets medium heat then pour 1 scoop of batter on to the pan and immediately spread.
- Add Ghee or Oil to top of the dosa or sprinkle on dosa.With out Oil/Ghee also it comes very nicely.
- Note down this type of dosa is difficult to have circle shape all the time.What ever the shape ,no problem.Just need to take care of roasting nicely two sides is important.
- Need to roast like in the picture.We need golden brown.If you want more crispy you need to roast up to golden red.
Wow look at that yummy dosa.This is very healhy dosa.This tastes very awsome with challapulusu/spinachbuttermilk soup.
you can use Karampodi/Oatsspicy powder/curry powder and Ghee as a munching.
